Privacy Policy

Who I am

This website is operated by Seongbum Park, trading as Seth Park (ABN 95 434 206 864), a videographer and filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit sethpark.studio, and how it is handled.

Information collected

I don't run contact forms, accounts or newsletters on this site, so no personal details are collected directly through it. Two things are worth knowing about:

• Email enquiries. If you email me, I receive whatever you choose to send — your name, email address, and details about your project. That information is used only to respond to you and, if we work together, to deliver the work.
• Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

Embedded content

Some pages include media hosted elsewhere:

• YouTube. Videos are embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, which limits tracking until you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube may set cookies and collect data under Google's privacy policy.
• Instagram. Photographs shown in the Stills section are retrieved from Instagram's official API and served through their content servers.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which I don't control.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. A caching plugin and the browser's own session storage may store small technical values to make pages load faster and to avoid replaying the intro animation on every visit. You can clear or block these through your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

How information is used

Anything you send me is used to answer your enquiry, quote on a project, and carry out agreed work. I don't sell, rent or trade personal information, and I don't send marketing emails unless you've specifically asked to receive them.

Client footage and photographs

Material captured during a project — footage, photographs and audio — is stored securely and used for delivery of that project. Where I'd like to show work publicly, in this portfolio or on social media, that use is agreed with the client beforehand. If you'd prefer work not to be shown publicly, let me know and it won't be.

Storage and retention

Enquiries and project files are kept while a project is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, for record-keeping and in case you need the material again. Files are held on password-protected devices and encrypted cloud storage.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information I hold about you, request corrections, or ask for it to be deleted. Email me and I'll respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If how I handle information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
